Is d'usse VSOP cognac good? ›

D'USSÉ V.S.O.P is less bold than other VSOP's like Hennessy's Privilège or Martell's Medallion. D'USSÉ V.S.O.P, however, is not a lightweight starter cognac. It does have the complexity one might expect from a V.S.O.P. and makes for excellent sipping with a complex nose and palate.

D'USSE is pronounced “dew-say”. The symbol on the bottle is the Cross of Lorraine, a French emblem that symbolizes courage, honor and perseverance. It is made at Château de Cognac, one of the oldest cognac houses in France. . The drink has been embraced by rapper/entrepreneur Jay Z since its launch in 2012.

Hors d'Age means “beyond age” and is the age category that describes the highest quality Cognac, in terms of age that is. Officially it is classified in the XO age denomination, but it is used for cognacs that have an average age of 30 years and above. Hors d'Age blends can be 30, 40, 50, even up to 100 years old.
